Savick doesn’t understand job

I had a letter to the editor in the Albert Lea Tribune a year ago about that fact that Rep. Shannon Savick wrote a letter to me saying that she did not vote for the farm/commercial equipment repair tax that had recently passed into law at that time.

In fact, she had voted for it. Not only that, there was a House floor debate about that very tax and she would have been there for that debate. Now I hear she’s at it again. This time she has denied that she voted for the $90 million Senate building in a recent forum.

Well, the House record shows that she voted for that, too. I was concerned a year ago that Rep. Savick didn’t understand her job and the legislative process, or that she was not being honest. I’m still concerned now. Either way, she should not be in office as our representative!
