Governor’s mansion hosts trick-or-treaters

ST. PAUL — The governor’s mansion in St. Paul will be open to ghosts and goblins for trick-or-treating.
Gov. Mark Dayton said the gates of the governor’s residence on Summit Avenue will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. today, and several local companies have donated goodies for the kids.
Pearson’s Candy Company is donating Bite Size Salted Nut Rolls, the Crow River Sustainable Farming Association is donating mini-pumpkins, Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake is donating apples, and 500 reflective treat bags are being provided by SafeKids Minnesota.
Harrington Orthodontics will also donate toothbrushes and toothpaste.
