LPEP plans community session

Leaders Partnering to End Poverty will have a community session from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at America’s Best Value Inn, 2306 E. Main St.

The session will feature Katherine Wagoner, director of membership engagement for the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless. Information will be discussed about the Minnesota Family Investment Program, the Prosperity for All campaign and what participants of LPEP have been working on.

The session will begin with a walkthrough of the Minnesota Family Investment Program, which helps families with children meet their basic needs while parents move to financial stability through work.

The session is free to attend and registration is required by Nov. 7. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and child care will be available onsite.
