Watershed district to host a tour of projects

Area residents have the chance to see the projects of the Shell Rock River Watershed District.
On Aug. 22, the watershed district will host a bus tour to show citizens some of the district’s latest ventures.
The bus tour will visit sites like the Mud Lake electrical fish barrier, the Jobs Industrial Park flood mitigation project, Main Street storm water park project, a rain garden, the Edgewater Park cleanup project and Albert Lea Lake.
The bus will leave at 9 a.m. that Saturday, and the cost to attend is $20.
