Panthers fall against Blossoms

NEW RICHLAND — A streak of 12 consecutive wins by the NRHEG girls’ basketball team over Blooming Prairie ended on Tuesday night.
The Awesome Blossoms won 52-28 for their first victory over the Panthers since Feb. 12, 2008.
Maddie Wagner led NRHEG with 11 points. Her twin sister, Marnie, had five, and Gretchen Ramaker added four.
The Panthers (1-3 overall) will look to get back on track at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Medford. The Tigers (0-3 overall) are coming off a 53-33 home loss against Mayer Lutheran.
