Vehicle damaged at armory

A vehicle parked at the Albert Lea Armory over the weekend was reported damaged at 9:58 a.m. Sunday, according to police. Police stated someone scratched into the hood of the car.
Truck hits building
A silver truck reportedly hit the curb and crashed into the Kentucky Fried Chicken building, 221 E. Main St., at 11:23 a.m. Friday, according to reports. The driver was listed as a Rafael Gilberto Turrubiartes, 28. No other information about the extent of the damage was available as of press time.
Power lines down
Power lines were reported on the ground at 213 South Lane at 2:20 p.m. Friday, according to reports.
Hit-and-run reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 11:06 p.m. Friday at 215 Front St., according to police. A vehicle reportedly hit a couple of trees and a pole. The crash is still under investigation.
Items stolen out of vehicle
A radio and speakers were reported stolen out of a vehicle at 822 W. Clark St. at 11:12 a.m. Saturday, according to police.
Laptop reported stolen
A laptop was reported stolen from a house at 525 W. Main St. at 9:39 p.m. Sunday, reports stated.
