Albert Lea dance team soars to success

- The Albert Lea dance team performs its jazz routine on Dec. 13 at an invitational at Fridley High School. The Tigers competed with 11 teams. Albert Lea took third place in the high-kick competition and sixth in the jazz competition. This season’s captains are Angie Schmitt, Katelyn Hendrickson and Samantha Nielsen. Dance team coaches are Kelsey Routh, Megan Kromminga and Jennifer Anderson. The JV high kick team will join the varsity jazz and high kick teams on Jan. 10 at the Lakeville South Invitational. — Submitted
