MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota transportation officials said as many as 20 vehicles have piled up and shut down an interstate ramp in the Twin Cities during the morning commute. 

The Minneosta Department of Transportation said the pileup has closed the ramp from southbound Highway 280 to Interstate 94. There’s no word yet on whether anyone was hurt.

MnDOT’s road report said highways in the Twin Cities are partially covered with snow. But, officials haven’t said whether slippery roads were a factor in the pileup.
