Dog shot in Clarks Grove

A dog was reported shot at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at 302 N. Hillcrest Circle, Clarks Grove. The incident remains under investigation, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

1 injured in crash

Tevin Lestrud, 22, of Albert Lea, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea Tuesday  evening for minor injuries after a crash on Broadway in Albert Lea.

Lestrud was driving a Volkswagen when he reportedly pulled out of the Clark gas station onto Broadway into the path of Phillip Goodmanson, 39, of Albert Lea, who was driving a 1995 black Honda.

Both had minor injuries, police stated, but only Lestrud was transported to the hospital.

 

Tires slashed on vehicle

Tires were reported slashed and a mirror was broken off of a 2002 Ford Focus at 8:56 a.m. Tuesday at 120 N. Second Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Man arrested for assault

Albert Lea police arrested Jon Paul Johnson for domestic assault at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday

 

Gas drive-off reported

A gas drive-off was reported at 2:47 a.m. today at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St. The gas totaled $20.03.

 

Building damaged

Structural damage was reported at M & T Bank, 110 Lincoln Ave. in Alden, at 3:14 p.m. Tuesday.
