DULUTH — A 32-year-old Duluth firefighter is facing four criminal charges after police said they found child pornography on his electronic devices.

Caleb Stuart Lofald of Hermantown is charged with felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct, felony possession of pictorial representation of minors, felony interference with privacy against a minor under 18 and misdemeanor interference with privacy.

The Duluth Police Department executed search warrants and seized electronic devices from Lofald’s home and the fire station where he works as part of an Internet crime investigation.

A criminal complaint alleges investigators found nearly a dozen images of a 4-month-old girl being sexually assaulted, as well as a secretly recorded video showing a 6-year-old boy and an adult woman in various stages of undress.

Lofald has been on administrative leave since November. It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney yet.
