Hayek Park’s skating rinks and warming house were occupied Friday for a night of skating and hockey. The event, called Rock on Ice, was organized by the Albert Lea Parks and Recreation Department. It took place from 7 to 9 p.m. About 50 people of all ages attended, skating on two rinks. One rink had people frolicking while the other had hockey. – Colleen Harrison/Albert Lea Tribune
