Funeral services for Warren Tuttle will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by local servicemen’s organizations, VFW and American Legion. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at the chapel. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.

Warren died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2015, at St. John’s Lutheran Community.

Warren Edward Tuttle was born Jan. 31, 1926, on the family farm in Freeman Township, the son of Lee Ernest and Katherine Eva (Attig) Tuttle. He attended Dist. No. 46 School. After school Warren enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the 35th infantry stationed in the Southwest Pacific during World War II. Warren worked for Wilson & Co. Hog Kill for 33 years before retiring.

On Feb. 12, 1972, Warren was united in marriage to Norma Schwickerath at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church. He was a member of the VFW and St. Theodore’s Catholic Church. Warren enjoyed visiting, reading and playing cards.

Survivors include his sons Wesley Tuttle and Martin Tuttle; daughters Nancy (Jan) Stillwell and Laura (Larry) Biggs; grandchildren JoDee Tuttle, Lindsey Tuttle, Wesley Tuttle, Dawn Jensen, Jesse Tuttle, Tracie Murnan, Kristie Hand and Brad Biggs and several great-grandchildren; sister, Vera (Veryl) Wallin; sisters-in-law Coletta (Dan) Geerts, Imelda Schmitt, Imogene (Howard) Attig and Jane Schwickerath; brothers-in-law Denis (Rosemary) Schwickerath and Joe (Rose Ann) Schwickerath; and many nieces and nephews.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma; sister, Evelyn Olson; and brother-in-law, Carroll Olson.

Memorials are preferred to the Knights of Columbus in Albert Lea.
