Albert Lea can’t afford to lose manager

Change is hard, I think we can all accept and agree on that. It is my feeling that if humans stop learning and adapting to change, they actually start moving closer to death, which is inevitable. One thing that great leaders spend most of their time thinking about is change. How to change for the betterment of others, how to get others on board with changes, which types of changes will have the greatest outcome, which changes fit into timelines and budgets and which changes move the pendulum closer to defined goals.
I frequently find myself wanting to write letters of support on behalf of proposed changes that local leadership has been working toward. I believe that change is good. In fact, we need it. The community is relying on area leaders to make decisions that will allow for growth. The leader that has inspired a need for me to write a letter today is Chad Adams. Chad has been a great choice for Albert Lea.
I have connected with Chad through many different volunteer and leadership initiatives. His heart is in it, citizens. You really could not ask someone to own and love a community like Chad has loved Albert Lea. He is not just managing our community, he is leading us toward greatness. He spends countless hours thinking through decisions that will help us change and provide the right environment for growth. Chad is not tasked with “growing” Albert Lea, he is tasked with making the right decisions so that we, as Albert Leans, feel inclined to “grow.”
I needed to write a letter to support Chad because I care about his leadership and selflessness for our community. We cannot afford to lose a great leader who is so committed to making the environment right for us to grow. Chad inspires me, and his support for clean water and development are unwavering. Please call your council member to let them know that Albert Lea really can’t afford to lose a fantastic leader.
