For the county’s 4-H’ers, it’s fair time again

Can you believe that it’s that time again for the county fair!! It’s coming up fast and if you stop out at the fairgrounds anytime before the fair, you will see the 4-H’ers hard at work preparing the 4-H buildings and barns. In addition to preparing the buildings for the fair, they are also busy preparing their projects at home to bring to the county fair. If you would like to see the projects that the 4-Hers have been working on; here is the schedule of events for the 4-H related activities for the county fair week:
Tuesday
4-H Poultry Show at noon in the North Pavilion
4-H Rabbit Show at 2:30 p.m. in the North Pavilion
4-H Dairy Goat Show at 5 p.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Exhibit Building open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
4-H Clover Stand open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Wednesday
4-H Swine Show at 9 a.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Lamb Lead at 5 p.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Sheep Show 5:30 p.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Exhibit Building open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
4-H Clover Stand open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Thursday
4-H Dairy Show at 8 a.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Beef Show at 9 a.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Market Goat Show at 1 p.m. in the Indoor Arena

Friday
4-H Horse Show at 8 a.m. in the Outdoor Arena
4-H Livestock Judging Contest at 10 a.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Beef Fitting and Showing Contest at 1:30 p.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Supreme Showmanship Contest at 3 p.m. in the Indoor Arena

Saturday
4-H Livestock Auction at 9 a.m. in the Indoor Arena
4-H Lama Show at 3 p.m. in the Indoor Arena

Sunday

Please, if you see 4-H’ers at the fair, congratulate them on all the hard work that they have put into their project. If you have any questions about 4-H during the county fair, please stop in the 4-H Exhibit Building or Livestock Office located by the Clover Stand. You can also call the Extension Office at 507-377-5660 and leave a message and we will get back to once we are back in the office after the county fair is completed.
