Rozella Gleason, 74, Albert Lea

The memorial service for Rozella M. Gleason, of Albert Lea, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Albert Lea. The Rev. Tom Biateck will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Glenville. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea and one hour before the service on Saturday.
Rozella died April 17, 2011, in Pharr, Texas. She was 74 years old.
Rozella was born March 16, 1937, in Moscow Township, Freeborn County, to Alfred and Mamie (Wyant) Carlson. She married Gerry Gleason on March 11, 1954, and they resided in Albert Lea for 58 years. To this marriage four children were born: Mike Gleason, Julie Gleason, Gina Gleason and Scott Gleason.
Rozella loved the Ceramic Rose Shop, which she operated for 25 years in Albert Lea. She also enjoyed bowling, softball, snowmobiling and camping.
Rozella is survived by her husband, Gerry Gleason of Albert Lea; children: Mike Gleason of Colorado, Julie Jacobs and her husband, Mark, of Albert Lea, Gina Flatness of Albert Lea and Scott Gleason and his wife, Tammy, of Missouri; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Bickford and his wife, Deloris, of Las Vegas; sister, Gladys Hestness of Rosemont.
Rozella is preceded in death by her parents: Alfred and Mamie Carlson; stepfather, Bruce Bickford; six brothers: Alvin, Leo, Pinky (Edward), Floyd, Bobby and Alfred Carlson; and her daughter-in-law: Maxine Gleason.
