AUSTIN — You can have a piece of the old Target. Much of it’s for sale.

Hilco Fixed Asset Recovery has opened the former Austin Target location at 1701 18th Ave. NW to allow residents to purchase old fixtures and appliances used at the store.

The company is selling much of Target’s equipment from stores that have closed, including all 133 stores in Target Canada.

The Austin Target is one of 11 stores that closed Feb. 1. Target spokespeople announced the closure last fall.

Residents can find shelves, clothing displays, show cases, restaurant equipment, furniture, pallet racking and more.

The store is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
