The April meeting of the South Central Minnesota SCORE chapter will be at 9:30 a.m. April 9 at the Albert Lea Business Development Center, 2610 Y.H. Hanson Ave. in Albert Lea.

An announcement of the recent SCORE grant awarded to the South Central Minnesota SCORE chapter will be made.  Elections will also take place for the fiscal year 2016. SCORE volunteers from Mankato, Albert Lea, Owatonna, Waseca and Faribault are invited and encouraged to attend.  SCORE clients and Individuals interested in becoming SCORE volunteers or mentors are also invited.

SCORE is a nonprofit association supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration with the goal of providing no cost, confidential mentoring by experienced volunteers to aspiring new business owners and to existing businesses, according to a press release.
