Community Sew Day planned

A Community Sew Day is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 18 at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds in the Fairlane Building. Those who would like to participate may attend all day or stay however long they would like, according to a press release. Those planning to attend should bring a sewing machine, scissors, pins and a sack lunch. Sewing kits for the projects will be provided, as well as water, coffee and cookies. Possible projects include quilts, personal care bags, pillowcases, tissue covers, dresses and pullover shirts for little boys. Those with questions may call 507-383-8977. Community Sew Day is part of the local Shinefest mission.
