The Albert Lea boys’ golf team finished third Friday in a Big Nine Triangular at Northern Hills Golf Course in Rochester.

The Tigers (5-18, 0-4 Big Nine) shot a 338 — one stroke behind Rochester John Marshall. Winona shot a 309 to finish first.

Brady Falk shot a 10-over par 82 to lead the Tigers, and Brent Nafzger shot 83. Nate Stadheim (84) and Nick Dulas (89) were the other two scorers for the Tigers.

Winona’s Jason Edstron shot even par to earn medalist honors.

The Tigers golf again Tuesday against Faribault at Faribault Golf Club.
