Man arrested for DWI
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joshua David Manges, 30, for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 2:16 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Highway 13 and 260th Street.
Assault reported
A 17-year-old boy was reported assaulted on Wednesday night near Trailside apartments.
Hit-and-run reported
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 6:55 p.m. Saturday of a hit-and-run crash involving a pickup and a train on 220th Street in Oakland. The truck driver reportedly took off.
Woman arrested for attempted theft
Albert Lea police arrested Juanita Ellena Talamantes, 28, for misdemeanor theft after police received a report of a woman who tried to leave Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., without paying for a cart of groceries.
Property damaged
A car was reported keyed at 8:06 a.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St. The damage reportedly took place on Wednesday.
A window on a house was reported damaged by a rock at 8:24 a.m. Friday at 911 E. Hawthorne St.
Break-in reported
A break-in was reported at 4:09 p.m. Saturday at 409 Willow in Hartland.
A burglary was reported at 12:11 p.m. Saturday at 621 E. 11th St., Albert Lea.
Items stolen
A trailer was reported stolen at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at 25574 800th Ave., Albert Lea.
An ice house was reported stolen at 6:36 p.m. Friday at 305 E. Third St., Albert Lea.
