MANKATO — A Blue Earth County judge has ordered that personal records for a teen who died last year after taking a synthetic drug will be released for the court to review.

The orders require the release of school records, medical records and some social services records for 17-year-old Chloe Moses. She died in March 2014 after taking 25C-NBOMe.

The records were requested by an attorney for Tyler Caputo, who’s charged with murder for allegedly providing the drug to another boy accused of selling it to Moses and her boyfriend.

Caputo attorney Ryan Pacyga has said he needs the information to prepare his defense.

The records will stay sealed while Judge Kurt Johnson reviews them, and they’ll remain sealed if he releases them to attorneys.
