Kristi Kay Shaw, age 50, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duff. She was survived by her daughter, Erin; parents, Joanne and Fay Miller; siblings: Richard (Pam) Miller, Robert (Marilyn) Miller, and Lori (David) Silverman; mother-in-law, Pauline Shaw; brother-in-law, Hal (Val) Shaw; neices and nephews: Kelly and Steve Shaw, Nessa, Derrick, and Taavy Miller; also by other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hosanna! Lutheran Church in Lakeville with a memorial visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted to Erin’s college fund, the Duff Shaw Memorial Trust Fund c/o Hosanna! Lutheran Church, or the Apple Valley High School Speech Team.
