DULUTH — The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department is investing an estimated $18 million on a handful of projects along the St. Louis River corridor.
The department announced its plans during a public forum at Spirit Mountain. The planned projects include an expansion of hiking and snowmobile trails and a Nordic center.
But the department said it’s still seeking the public’s input on other projects in an effort to gauge what residents would like to see.
Parks and Recreation Manager Kathy Bergen said she wants to hear some ideas to help formulate details of the projects.
City officials said seven of the projects will begin this summer, followed by more beginning in the fall.
