Man arrested for controlled substance charge

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Timothy John Steve, 31, for two counts of fifth-degree controlled substance charges, a charge of a felon being in possession of tear gas and a having a prescription bottle without a label at 1:16 p.m. Tuesday outside 18322 U.S. Highway 69.
