Panthers hold off Cardinals 9-7

NEW RICHLAND — The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers softball team allowed three runs in the seventh inning Monday but held on to win 9-7 over Faribault Bethlehem Academy.
Jade Schultz earned the win and went 3-for-4 from the plate with three RBIs and a stolen base. Harlee Vokoun went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
The Panthers play again at 4:30 p.m. today against at Glenville-Emmons.
