The Glenville-Emmons Wolverines baseball team lost 7-6 in nine innings Monday to Hope Lutheran in Winona.

Spencer Kral pitched eight innings for the Wolverines and allowed six runs, one earned, and struck out nine batters. Tyler Woodside pitched the ninth innings and gave up one earned run.

Woodside went 3-for-4 from the plate with three runs scored and an RBI. Cameron Iverson went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI.

The Wolverines play again at 6:30 p.m. tonight at New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva.
