Pam Schmidt recently joined the team at Century 21 O’Byrne Realty Inc., 200 N. Broadway Ave., Albert Lea. She has also recently earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation for real estate. The GRI designation is a national award presented to realtors who have completed the required 60 hours of course work in residential construction, appraisal, inspection, business planning, ethics, technology and investment, and who are members in good standing of their local Realtor association.

Pam is a native of Albert Lea along with her husband, Dennis, who is a UPS feeder driver. They have three daughters and their fifth grandchild on the way.

The Schmidts have opened their Victorian historical home for benefits and fundraising tours and have worked to preserve the history of their home. The Schmidts are pursuing the requirements to add their home to the “National Register of Historic Homes.”

Schmidt is active on the Albert Lea Heritage & Preservation Commission, is an Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber Ambassador, a member of the Blue Zones sustainability committee and a Len & Shutter Photography Club member.
