Steele County Art Exhibition is now open

The 63rd annual Steele County Art Exhibition will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays until May 31. The exhibition is an opportunity to see the state of the arts in the area which cover a variety of media and subject matter. Artists often return year to year while new artists also join the show. Acrylic artists included in the show are Alisha Davidson, Elizabeth Frazeur, Tony Haas, Jim Killen, Reynald L. Mast and Anna Nicholson.
Watercolorists in the show are Sandy Dinse, Maureen Fuller and Dee Teller.
Oil painters Geraldyne Berg, Harvey Degen, Willie Peterson and Lynette Yencho will be featured as well. Thersa Harsma will show a mixed media work and Mary McCartney and Shawn McNulty will show works in pastel.
The prints will be represented by Lavona Sherarts, Ted Sherarts and Jean Zamboni.
Clay artists featured in the show will be Judy Fairchild and Diane Raymond.
Tom Teller will be exhibiting works in wood and glass works are by artist Sherry Kubista.
Mary Ruth is a encaustic artist featured in the show. Tyler Hanson will display works in colored pencil.
