South Central SCORE chapter to meet

The May meeting of the South Central Minnesota SCORE Chapter will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation offices, 525 Florence Ave. NW in Owatonna. Karen Brehmer, IRS stakeholder liaison, will be the guest speaker and will discuss identity theft, IRS resources for small business owners, resources for clients and other topics of interest. The program will last approximately one hour. SCORE volunteers from Mankato, Albert Lea, Owatonna, Waseca and Faribault are invited and encouraged to attend. SCORE clients and interested individuals are also welcome. The program is free, but seating is limited. Reservations can be made by emailing scmnscore@gmail.com.
SCORE is a nonprofit association supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration with the goal of providing no cost, confidential mentoring by experienced volunteers to aspiring new business owners and to existing businesses.
