- Albert Lea’s eighth and ninth-grade Just For Kix Junior Kix pose at the end of a performance on April 12 at the Together We Dance competition at the Regional Sports Center on the Campus of Rochester Technical and Community College. Albert Lea’s fourth-grade team took first place; fifth grade, second; sixth grade, first; seventh grade, first; Junior Kix, first; Senior Kix, second; eighth- to 12th-grade Jazz, first place. The Albert Lea Just For Kix program is in its 19th year and includes local students from age 3 to 12th grade. Albert Lea’s Just For Kix director is Aimee Struck. — Provided
