The newly renovated Worth County Fair Grandstand will be dedicated with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:45 p.m. June 17. The Fair Grandstand has experienced a complete makeover and fairgoers will be able to enjoy a free meal that evening sponsored by POET biorefining of Hanlontown. The dedication will be followed immediately by the crowning of this year’s 2015 Worth County Fair Queen at 7 p.m. The musical group “Six Appeal” will perform immediately following the Queen Contest. The final activity of the night will be a drawing for a free John Deere riding lawnmower to be given away to the lucky ticket winner. The winner of the drawing must be present to win.
