NORTHWOOD — A 54-year-old Minnesota man has been hospitalized after being pinned between two cement trucks in northern Iowa.

Dale Leeman, 54, of Clarks Grove was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City and was listed in fair condition Tuesday night.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday near Northwood State Bank on Central Avenue in Northwood. The office said in a news release that Leeman was standing behind one truck when the second truck backed up, pinning Leeman between them.
