On Dec. 4, 1943, she was united in marriage to Alfred B. Stensrude in Owatonna and they spent their lives together in Lake Mills and Albert Lea.

Beatrice will be greatly missed by her family, including sons Thomas (Jeanne) Stensrude of Madison Lake, John (Karen) Stensrude of San Antonio, Texas, and Gene Stensrude of Lake Mills; daughters Linda Rolands of Lake Mills and Patricia Kouba of Phoenix; Julie (Paul) Tlamka of Albert Lea and Mary (Art Hughes) Gold of Albert Lea; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred, in 1996; brother, Earl Christenson; and sisters Marion Carpenter, Jennie Aase, Dorothy Hall, Ruth Fretheim, Ruby Carpenter and Florence Goldman.
Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Community, Peace and Power or Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea Hospice.
