Family Bike Safety Rodeo coming to Southwest

Attention kids of all ages, learn how to be a better cyclist at the free Family Bike Safety Rodeo from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, in the Southwest Middle School parking lot, 1601 W. Front St., Albert Lea.
This free event, for children and adults, will feature bike safety instructions, rules of the road and bike handling skills. Free bike helmets, helmet fittings and bike inspections will also be available.
This event is sponsored by the Statewide Health Improvement Program, Pioneering Healthier Communities and the Vitality Project.
Bring your bike and helmet, or get a free helmet at the event if you don’t already have one, and learn how to bike safely around Albert Lea and Freeborn County this summer.
