Legion Auxiliary holds state convention

The American Legion Auxiliary held its 90th state convention in Mahnomen July 16-18.
Auxiliary members from Glenville, representing the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 264, were Cindy Nelson and Sandy Fredrickson. Carol Barbknecht of Underwood, state president of the American Legion Auxiliary, presided. Keynote speaker was the National President Desiree Stoy of Perrysville, Ohio. The newly elected officers of 2009-10, American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Minnesota are: Marsha Bible, department president from Waite Park; Darlene Wondra, department first vice president, from Montgomery; and Linda Thompson, department second vice president, from Monticello.
