John Abrego died Friday, May 15, 2015. He was 64.

Johnny was born in Albert Lea, the son of Celestino and Rosa Abrego. He later moved to St. Paul where he resided the rest of his years. Johnny had two main hobbies, playing guitar and singing with all the family.

He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Jose) Martinez and Lucina Abrego; six grandchildren, Saulvito, Bibianna, Jose Jr., Taya, Vincent and Rodrigo; three great-grandchildren, Duran, Cat and Anaya; three brothers, Tony, Pat and David Abrego; four sisters, Fran Wilborn, Rosie Sanchez, Rosia and Emily Abrego; and many other relatives and friends.

His family stated, “He will be greatly missed by everybody who knew him. Our family will remember him forever and ever.”
