I came home from work Monday afternoon and pulled my ’67 Chevelle SS out of the garage and gave it a quick bath. Eddie Cochran Weekend is this weekend, and I wanted to get started cleaning it up and such. Afterward I went inside the house and took a quick shower. When I got done I heard a chainsaw outside. I looked outside and lo and behold there was an Albert Lea city crew trimming a tree in my boulevard. They had the chipper just a few feet from my car! I quick got dressed and went outside just in time to watch the crew drive away!

My car was covered in sawdust! Why on earth didn’t these guys knock on my door and ask me to move my car? These guys were very disrespectful! I rinsed the car off with the hose, and I don’t see any scratches, but I just had the car painted three years ago and it is my pride and joy! Shame on these guys!
