Elinor Irene Lee, age 79, of Austin, died at her home.
Elinor was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Walters to William C. and Lida L. (Pfahning) Davis. On Sept. 23, 1952, she married William C. Lee at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Elinor was a homemaker and a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening-especially her raspberries, canning her pickles, baking her cookies and crocheting afghans for “her grandkids.”
Survivors include her children, Kathie (Jim) Stadler, of Minneapolis, Lori Koppa (special friend, Scott), of Austin, Tazmonn-Steve Lee (Sandra Merrill), of Richfield; grandchildren, Benjamin Stadler, Kasie Stadler-Grondin (Kevin), Anna Koppa, Christopher Koppa, Jonathon Koppa; sisters, Evelyn Gurneau, Audrey Johannsen, Sharon Olson; brother, Richard Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill on Dec. 24, 2000; parents; sister, Harriet; brothers, Harlan, Harold and Wayne.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Kahl officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
The casket bearers will be Benjamin Stadler, Kasie Stadler-Grondin, Kevin Grondin, Anna Koppa, Christopher Koppa and Jonathon Koppa.
