During the month of July, Erbert & Gerbert’s will give back to the community.
Starting Monday and running through July 31 the sandwich shop will be giving back to the Salvation Army. For every dollar customers donate — up to $10 — they can receive an equivalent amount in Comet Cash good for any menu item.
Continuing what has become an annual tradition for Erbert & Gerbert’s, locations throughout the country will make contributions to the charity of their choice with beneficiaries including JDRF, Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics.
The shop’s contributions demonstrates its continued efforts to support those who have made the sandwich shop famous, said Eric Wolfe, president and CEO of Erbert & Gerbert’s, in a press release.
“We always say that the only thing better than making sandwiches is making a difference,” Wolfe said in a press release. “Erbert & Gerbert’s makes people happy with the food we make, but we know that’s not enough. We’re proud to contribute to communities throughout the country and to benefit our customers who contribute as well.”
Founded in 1988 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and themed originally from a child’s storybook, Erbert & Gerbert’s has grown to over 81 locations in eight states, with locations ranging from urban centers to rural areas. Growth for 2016 is targeted in Iowa, North Carolina, Minnesota, Indiana, Wisconsin, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota, with additional franchises slated to open in Michigan and Texas. The Albert Lea location has been open since 2012 and has won several Erbert & Gerbert’s company awards.
