I want to express my thanks and appreciation for one of Albert Lea’s finest citizens and public servants, Kay Rasmussen. I had the privilege of serving the citizens of Ward 3 as their city councilor for eight years. It is clearly one of the highlights of my life!

During those eight years, we experienced high and low times in our great city; but this very special lady, Kay Rasmussen, was an absolute joy to work with at city hall. She always met people at her desk with a smile and a warm spirit. She never complained about anything. She simply did her job to the best of her ability. She was always supportive of whoever was elected to office and did her best to work well with those around her.

Kay is an outstanding individual! She will be greatly missed at city hall.

Kay, I wish you all the best as you live your life. I pray God’s richest blessing upon you. You certainly deserve it!
