The Nice Advice by Leah Albert
It has been an amazing year writing this column and providing nice advice for my friends and neighbors in Albert Lea. I just wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for sharing your everyday issues and questions with me!
I am a community member, just like you, living, working and parenting in Albert Lea. I know what it’s like to struggle and the advice I give comes right from my heart.
With that being said, write in!
You can email in your questions and concerns to theniceadvice@gmail.com or find me on Facebook — The Nice Advice: Leah Albert.
Here are some guidelines that you may find helpful:
I ask you remain honest in your writing.
Please don’t identify any one person specifically, nor yourself.
I ask that you remain civil.
Please do not make defamatory statements, or use vulgarity or threats.
Please keep your questions to one or two paragraphs.
Read what I have to say, but it’s always a good idea to talk to your friends and family. We should never be isolated in our lives, especially when we’re struggling. If you don’t have a good support group yet, please find one.
I am here to help explore other options for resolving conflict and offer a new perspective.
I understand we all experience frustrations in our lives, and I want to help you work through them.
It’s up to you to take the advice and run with it! Let’s hear it!
