Theft by fraud reported

A theft by fraud was reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 131 Third St. SW in Glenville. It was reported that someone had used a credit card. The pending transaction was canceled and there was no loss of money. The account was closed.

1 injured in crash

An injury traffic crash was reported at 1:09 a.m. Thursday on Freeborn County Road 13, east of Glenville. The driver was reportedly taken to the emergency room in Austin by her sister prior to the crash being discovered. A motorcycle was reported down, and there was reportedly glass everywhere.
