ST. LOUIS PARK — Two people were taken to the hospital after a car drove into a restaurant and bakery in the western Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park.

According to a press release, a Lexus sedan crashed into Yum! Kitchen and Bakery on Wednesday afternoon.

A city official said the car drove through the front doors just before 1 p.m. City officials don’t know why the car drove into the restaurant.

Reports state two people were taken to a hospital for observation.
