The Albert Lea Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 121 Elizabeth Ave. at 3 p.m. Saturday.

A department spokesman said there was minor damage done to the porch and front of the residence. He added that neighbors put out the fire before the firemen arrived. Damages were confined to front door frame and porch floor.
