Hit-and-run crash reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 8:48 a.m. Monday on the 300 block of East Second Street in Albert Lea. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a black Ford with right tail light damage.

 

Man arrested on local warrants

Police arrested Faustino Moreno Jr. on local warrants at 2:06 p.m. Monday at 507 W. Main St. in Albert Lea.

 

Thefts reported

A man reported $300 missing at 11:03 a.m. Monday at 1420 1/2 Lee Ave. in Albert Lea.

A theft of an air conditioner was reported at 12:45 p.m. Monday at 304 W. College St. in Albert Lea.

A cement mixer was reported stolen at 5:17 p.m. Monday from 215 W. Front St. in Albert Lea.

A 10-speed Huffy black and pink mountain bike was reported stolen at 1:40 p.m. Monday at 402 Johnson St. in Albert Lea. The alleged victim said it had been taken sometime overnight and was unsecured in the front yard of the residence. No suspects were reported.

Man cited for theft

Police cited Mitchell Magavin Stevens for misdemeanor theft Monday night at Walmart in Albert Lea. Stevens was cited after a report of a male with a white tank top, jeans and a white Walmart bag said he purchased shoes but the store officials said he hadn’t. Stevens then allegedly took off on foot. The report was made at 8:59 p.m.

 

Man arrested for DUI

Jeffrey Norris Hagen was arrested for driving under the influence at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday on Freeborn County Road 22 and charged with fourth-degree driving while impaired and third-degree test refusal.
