The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal named U.S. Bank one of the “Best Places to Work in Minnesota” for 2015. All of the Best Places to Work honorees are featured in the Friday issue of the publication, according to a press release.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal identifies and celebrates Minnesota’s best workplaces through employee surveys. The rankings in Best Places to Work are based on employee opinions about company leadership, career growth and development, pay and benefits, recognition and other factors.
“We’re excited and honored to be named one of the Best Places to Work in Minnesota for three consecutive years,” said Phillip Trier, market president of U.S. Bank in the Twin Cities. “We work very hard at U.S. Bank to make the company a place where our employees enjoy their work and have opportunities for growth and involvement in their communities. It’s an honor to be recognized by the many people who work at U.S. Bank in our great state.”
The survey was administered, and information collected and analyzed by Quantum Workplace, which manages Best Places to Work in partnership with the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. This year, nearly 225 companies were nominated.
To qualify for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, companies must have an office in the Twin Cities 24-county metropolitan area with at least 10 full-time employees or be based in Minnesota with more than 1,000 employees in the state.

Statewide, U.S. Bank provided more than $4.5 million in contributions to the community last year, and its employees volunteered more than 86,000 hours for local nonprofit organizations.
