Applications for assistance with back to school supplies will be taken from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Salvation Army, 302 Court St. in Albert Lea, for students in kindergarten to seventh grade. Applicants will need to bring proof of all household income, verification of residency in Freeborn County and a parental ID. Back packs will be distributed the same day to those who qualify.
