Mark and Cindy Meier, of Glenville, and David and Sue Eilertson, of Northwood, Iowa, announce the engagement of their children, Emily Meier and Mark Eilertson.

Emily is a 2008 graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School. She is employed at the Lake Mills Care Center as a dietary aide.

Mark is a 2006 graduate of Northwood-Kensett High School. He graduated from Oklahoma State horseshoeing school as a farrier. He runs his own farrier business out of Northwood.

A wedding is planned for July 30, 2011, at Eilertson Farm in Northwood.
