Trump changed parties 5 times

Donald Trump is currently leading the polls for the GOP nomination. He has hit a nerve with many Americans by tapping into their anger with career politicians, political correctness and immigration.
The problem is that Trump’s record does not back up what he’s saying. He has a liberal record, not a conservative one.
In 2004 Donald Trump not only identified as a Democrat, but said that he believed that the economy does better under Democrats.
In 2000, Trump supported Hillary Clinton in her campaign for U.S. Senate in New York. He’s given millions to Bill and Hillary Clinton, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Many people criticized Mitt Romney for being a flip-flopper on issues. Trump makes him look like an amateur. Trump was pro-choice, pro gun control, for single-payer healthcare and for higher taxes. In the last 30 years Trump has switched parties five times. Sadly, the only thing consistent about Trump is his hair.
Like every early polling leader, Trump will eventfully fade away, but other candidates should be taking notes, especially the two other nonpolitical candidates: Neurosurgeon Ben Carson and HP CEO Carly Fiorina. Trump proves that people are tired of politics as usual and the Republican Party needs to harness that anger as Trump has but without some of the derogatory comments. If top tier candidates like Jeb, Walker and Rubio use this, we can and will beat Hillary and the Democrats in 2016.
