: The Albert Lea Pickleball Tournament was Aug. 21 and 22 on the courts at Frank Hall Park. Along with players from Minnesota, the tournament drew players from Iowa and South Dakota. In the under 55 men’s bracket, winners from left were James Kenyon and Matt Bitz, second; Chris and Curt Wong, first; and Jerry Hartmann and Ken Barber, third. — Provided

: In the women’s bracket, winners from the Albert Lea Pickleball Association’s first pickleball tournament from left were Kayla Moothart and Brianna Hartmann, second; Doritz Schuldt and Dawn Rysdon, first; and Margie Barber and Jane Goke, third. — Provided

: In the over 55 men’s bracket, winners from the Albert Lea Pickleball Association’s first pickleball tournament from left were Scott Miller and Bruce Montplaisir, second; Bob Armon and Craig Rayman, first; and Maureen Dolan and Dean Adams, third. — Provided

: In the over 60 mixed bracket, winners from the Albert Lea Pickleball Association’s first pickleball tournament from left were Gary Hareid and Gail Levorson, second; Curt and Jane Goke, first; and Phyllis Freeman and Allan Peterson, third. — Provided
